Shop hours extended to 5 pm on weekdays from 17 May

As Covid-19 restrictions ease further, the shop will close at 5 pm during the week instead of at the earlier 2 pm.  It will continue to open at 7 am during the week. Saturday opening hours will continue to be 8.30 am to 12.30 pm, and Sundays 9 am to 12 noon.

At its meeting on 10 March, the shop management committee decided the shop could open longer during the week as enough volunteers had indicated they would be happy to return from 17 May, alongside those already working, to enable our hours to be extended.

You may see a member of staff on the shop floor putting out stock, etc. but they’ll be wearing a face covering and observing the one-metre-plus social distancing rule.
