Money still available for grants to local organisations

There’s still money left in the pot of £1000 set aside by Radley Village Shop Association at its AGM last year for grants to local groups towards the cost of a specific item or project with a social or charitable purpose that needs funds immediately. Download an application form

£50 notes no longer accepted

The shop is no longer prepared to accept any £50 notes.  We regret having to do this, but we unwittingly accepted another counterfeit £50 note recently and aren’t prepared to suffer any more losses in this way.  Note that Guidance from the Bank of England is that shop owners can choose what form of payment

Cashback available

Radley Village Shop now offers cashback of up to £30 to customers paying with a debit card and spending a minimum of £5 in the shop. The minimum spend can include newspaper vouchers but not the Shop’s own gift vouchers. The Shop doesn’t sell gift vouchers these days but it does donate them to village

Shop AGM postponed

The AGM of The Radley Village Shop Association Limited, originally scheduled for 1 June 2020, has had to be postponed due to the current coronavirus restrictions. The aim is to hold it later in the year when government rules allow. Stephen Ewens Company Secretary
