On 1 February 2022, we removed the requirement to spend a minimum of £2 for customers paying for their purchases on a debit or credit card. These days about two-thirds of our takings are from card payments – something we’re keen to encourage. The limit for contactless payments increased to £100 on 15 October 2021.
Radley Village Shop now offers cashback of up to £30 to customers paying with a debit card and spending a minimum of £5 in the shop. The minimum spend can include newspaper vouchers but not the Shop’s own gift vouchers. The Shop doesn’t sell gift vouchers these days but it does donate them to village
Radley Village Shop, a community co-operative, has used over £1000 of its 2014 surplus to pay for the defibrillator now fitted on one of its outside walls. This means there is now a public access defibrillator available in the centre of the village, close to the pub and the railway station, for anyone to use
