This week the shop welcomed a brand-new coffee machine. It’s a like-for-like replacement of the old machine, which had clocked up over 23,500 drinks since October 2013 and was beginning to show its age. Radley Village Shop lost a much valued and important member of its team of volunteers when Iain Winton died in August at the comparatively young age of 71. In his memory, Radley Village Shop Association has made a donation to St James the Great Church Radley, to which Iain contributed so much as a churchwarden.
The 2022 Annual General Meeting of The Radley Village Shop Association Limited took place on 1 June. At the end of the meeting, there was a presentation of long-service awards, which included 16 people who have been a volunteer ever since the shop opened just over 15 years ago on 22 May 2007.
