Unsung Heroes of the Vale

Congratulations

on being recognised in the Unsung Heroes of The Vale of The White Horse Awards to

Lynda Pasquire for her work with Radley Village Shop, Friends of Radley Lakes and Friends of Radley Station. Lynda received her certificate in October 2011.

Graham Steinsberg for his sterling work in setting up the Radley Village community shop (‘which owes its very existence to his huge input of energy and enthusiasm’)

Dot Hewlett for her dedication and support to Radley Luncheon Club and organising the newspapers in Radley Village Shop

Sue Crabb in recognition of her work in support of Radley Village Hall over 30 years and as a member of the volunteers for Radley Village Shop

Sue’s husband, Dick Crabb, was also recognised for his hard work over 30 years in support of Radley Village Hall. Other people from Radley winning awards were Chris and Brenda Gasson for the work they do for Radley Youth Group and, for Chris, as the Clerk of the Green Cloth.

Graham, Dot and Sue were invited to receive their certificates from Alison Rooke, chairman of the Vale of the White Horse District Council, at a celebration lunch at the Guildhall in Abingdon on Saturday 6 March 2010.
