Minimum spend for card purchases removed

On 1 February 2022, we removed the requirement to spend a minimum of £2 for customers paying for their purchases on a debit or credit card.  These days about two-thirds of our takings are from card payments – something we’re keen to encourage.

The limit for contactless payments increased to £100 on 15 October 2021.

A minimum spend of £2 when asking for cashback remains in place. Up to a maximum of £30 in cashback is available – debit card and PIN required.
